維護傳統經典〜形塑古為今用

傳統是創新的基礎，傳統亦是永恆的時尚。為了呈現傳統經典老戲的活潑生命力，國光積極融合現代劇場觀念，致力「老戲新編」的現代詮釋，從『貼近台灣時代脈動』的立場挑選劇目，從事主題系列呈現，多元演繹本土現代風華。例如楊家將系列、包公系列、禁戲匯演；經由古今對照，讓老故事也能感動現代人的心。 演出節目頁面插圖 Preserving the Traditional Classics～The Modernization of Classical Drama Innovation should be based on tradition which has permanent value. To bring new life to traditional classics, the National Guoguang Opera Company draws upon concepts from modern drama to reshape historical plays with a new interpretation. Based on the principle of “moving along with the new times in Taiwan”, the company selects traditional plays that are modernized and performed on the stage. The plays are performed in a series with diversified themes that aim at demonstrating modern values in Taiwan. The series of the Yangs' military saga, the series of Judge Bao, and the series of forbidden plays are good examples. Through such performances, contemporary viewers can experience the contrast of the old and the new and better appreciate the old stories.

 

激勵創新〜建構本土嶄新劇藝美學

我們積極從事「戲曲現代化」，創作貼近時代潮流的新戲，打造傳統戲曲嶄新美學。《大將春秋》、《閻羅夢》、《三個人兒兩盞燈》曾獲得電視金鐘獎，《閻羅夢》、《王熙鳳》、《青塚前的對話》、《金鎖記》幾乎每年都從數百個演藝節目中脫穎而出，獲選年度台新藝術獎「十大表演藝術節目」，《三個人兒兩盞燈》更贏得第四屆台新藝術獎「評審團特別獎」的肯定。跨界與國立交響樂團合作的《快雪時晴》更是在演出後獲得不斷好評，足證創新的路永無止盡。 演出節目頁面插圖 Changes and Innovation～the construction of a new aesthetics of performance art tinged with local values The company has spared no effort in modernizing traditional drama. By creating new plays that reflect modern trends, the company has established a new aesthetics out of the traditional plays. The plays, The Annals of Great Generals and Dreaming of Yen-luo—the Ruler of Hades,Three Persons and Two Lamps were honored with the Golden Bell Award for TV production. The plays, Dreaming of Yen-luo—the Ruler of Hades, Wang Xi-feng, Whispers at the Tombstone, and The Story of the Golden Cangue were named among the “Ten Best Performances of the Year” by the Tai-xin Arts Awards, which reviews hundreds of performances annually. The play, Three Persons and Two Lamps won the “Review Committee's Special Award” by the Tai-xin Arts Awards. Finally, the play Sunlight after Snowfall, produced in cooperation with the National Symphony Orchestra, was widely acclaimed. All these prove that there are possibilities for modernizing traditional drama.
